And we're off!

Just a quick little blurb...

We're killing some time at the USO in the Seattle/Tacoma Airport before we board for our flight. Check-in was a little hectic but amazingly easy. The dogs are already taken and I'm just crossing my fingers they don't stress out too much. It's going to be a long few days of travel. It's about 12 straight hours of travel time to Yokota AB, we will stop to re-fuel and then fly down to Kadena (Okinawa) which is another few hours. We will lose a day, so when we get there it will be Friday morning local time. We will be 14 hours ahead of central time!

We'll be staying in a hotel until we find a house or decide to move into a house on base. As soon as we get settled in we will be in touch with everyone! We plan to set up Skype or Vonage to stay in touch with everyone in the states!

Talk to everyone soon, and yes, I have lots of updating to do (the wonderous adventures of the paperwork trail for our dogs, our fun times in Seattle, etc.) and when I get a chance, I'll update photos!!!
