*Sigh*, Tyler is 6 months old today! It's bittersweet. It's so exciting watching him grow, learn new things, and discover the world around him... but he's getting SO big, SO fast! It feels like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital, looking at this beautiful creation, wondering... "now what?". We've come a long way from those days.
At 6 months Ty is...
-18 lbs 11 oz (although these stats were from his appt which was 2 weeks before his actual 6 month mark)
-27.5" long
-wearing size 3 diapers
-wearing size 9 month clothing/size 2 shoes
-can (finally) roll over - only back to stomach
-eating solids
-rice cereal, oatmeal cereal, carrots, sweet potatoes, squash and prunes so far; LOVES it all
-discovering new sounds - has the cutest belly laughs when we play peek-a-boo; and a strange Grudge like sound-gasping sound when he's excited
-is a world traveler
-no teeth yet
-LOVES to scoot around in his walker and bounce around in his jumparoo
-unfortunately not sleeping through the night at the moment; perhaps due to growth spurt/teething/jet-lag/cold?
-been through 2 typhoons!
-a HUGE flirt! Loves to smile and squeal at the ladies
-still enjoys car rides, walks, and shopping trips
Can't wait to see what else he's going to learn to do!!! :)
