Joe and I ventured down south to check out the Ryukyu Glass Factory. We've seen a lot of the hand-made glass items in the local stores, so we were interested to see how they make it! The factory was small, but it was really neat to see the people in the different stations. They were each making different items (glasses, vases, etc.) and using different colors and techniques to make it! They also had several gift shops with TONS of hand-made items! It was so hard to choose just one thing, but I was able to get a birthday gift for my mom and a 2010 glass for us. Joe also played a game where you get 5 ping-pong balls and try to have it land in one of the items... if it lands in any item, you get to take it home! Joe was a big winner and we got to take home a really pretty wine glass!
