Well, I googled "Easy beginner sewing project" and I came across a picture of baby booties. I figured, I'd give it a shot. I did some of it by hand, and some on the machine. I'm pretty proud of myself for finishing it, and they somewhat resemble what they're supposed to... :) Although, it did take me quite a bit of time to actually thread the machine... I had to watch a YouTube video so I could just see how it was done (I always learn faster watching it). I got the hang of it and finally figured it out. I'm ready for my next project... Brooke and I are going to make purses/handbags! Can't wait.

these baby booties are adorable! i wanted to try them, but never had the leather...
anyways, i'm a little jealous because your blog is already way more updated than mine... :(
